The technology an average teens uses and is able to use is limitless. In present day life small children are immediately introduced to basic technology, as we grow the things we use become even more sophisticated. Today I got to thinking about technology that empowers me as teen.
-The internet is the most widely used technology in the world. It allows you to read and reply to emails, visit social sites like Facebook, Twitter, WordPress,Etc. The internet is at your fingertips for just about whatever topic you choose. You pick if you want to make it into a learning experience or not.
-Also, a cellphone is almost if not an addiction to a teenager. I’ve heard with my own ears ” I don’t think I could live without my cell phone.” As crazy as it may sound, teens actually freak out and lose their tempers when they misplace their cell phones. The sms or text message is mainly what the phone is used for. It allows you to keep contact with people without saying a word. Everyone, I can go on blabbering about my cell phone( Blackberry) for ages, but i don’t want to bore you.
-Video games are the one thing that takes up many teens spare time. Whether it be for the better or the worst,Some teens have been known to actually base their lives on video gaming. Like most things in the world it can be profitable, but a very large number of people are just average recreational gamers. The gaming world continues to grow as the global population increases.
Technology really does empower teens. Whether it be through social sites, Music players, laptops, touch pads, there is always a learning experience to be gained from technology. It brings you power and encouragement in the society of electronics and technology that allow things to work great and make it possible for many things you thought would be impossible to achieve.
